Wilfred Pickles signature on reverse of Fred Mack and his Band business card.
An enduring and popular figure of the 1950s and into the 60s was Wilfred Pickles and his cheery Have a Go radio programme. During the second world war he occasionally read the news bulletins on national radio in his regional accent rather than BBC English because it was difficult for the German propaganda machine to imitate in their broadcasts. I don’t know who Fred Mack is - perhaps the musical accompaniment during his shows.
Ther is lots more ‘Pickles’ info on the web.
